Chairman of the Board
Pål Engebretsen joined ChapDrive as Chairman of the Board in December 2010. Pål Engebretsen has a wide experience from top management positions in the supplier industry to the energy sector. In his previous career, Pål Engebretsen amongst others has held positions as Chief Executive Officer of Bergen Group ASA a Norwegian maritime industrial group with main focus on off shore industry and specialized vessels, Deputy CEO of NTE, a Norwegian energy utility, Chairman of ScanWind Group AS, a wind turbine company now part of GE wind, Chairman of Sarepta Energi AS, a wind project developer and Deputy Chairman of the power company Eurokraft Norge AS. Pål Engebretsen has a degree in Engineering. Pål Engebretsen is a Norwegian national born on 22 December 1954.

Tellef Thorleifsson
Board Member
Tellef Thorleifsson joined ChapDrive as Board Member in June 2007 and was Chairman of the Board from June 2007 to December 2010. Tellef Thorleifsson is a Partner in NorthZone Ventures. He was the fourth to join NorthZone as a co-founder in 1996, and he has been instrumental in the fund raising and building of NorthZone Ventures to a leading Nordic venture capital firm. In addition to his activities in NorthZone Tellef Thorleifsson was instrumental in the foundation of the Norwegian Venture Capital Association and acted as its first Chairman. He has also served as Director of both EVCA and the Swedish Venture Capital Associations. Tellef Thorleifsson serves as Chairman of the Board of Mamut ASA, Revolt Technology AS and Solar Cell Repower AS and as Board Member in ChapDrive AS. Tellef Thorleifsson is also a Director of Silex AB and at the University of Oslo's Technology Transfer Office (Birkeland Innovasjon AS), The Voxtra Foundation, and a Member of EVCA's Investor Relations Committee. Tellef Thorleifsson holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and a master’s degree of Economics from London School of Economics. Tellef Thorleifsson joined ChapDrive as Board Member in June 2007 and was Chairman of the Board from June 2007 to December 2010. Tellef Thorleifsson is a Partner in NorthZone Ventures. Torben Bjerre-Madsen joined ChapDrive as Board Member in June 2007 as external industry representative. Torben Bjerre-Madsen has over 10 years of experience and a substantial network within the renewable energy sector obtained from his work as Board Member in renewable energy companies and his previous positions as CEO of NEG Micon A/S and Deputy CEO of Vestas Wind Systems A/S.
