Jens Anders Jensen joined ChapDrive as CEO in October 2008. Jens Anders Jensen holds a master’s degree in Dairy Engineering from the Life Science Faculty at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and a diploma from the Silkeborg School of Commerce, Denmark. Jens Anders Jensen served 4½ years in the Danish based Vestas Group as Member of the Board of Management. In addition to the position as CSO and Executive Vice President in Vestas Wind Systems A/S Jens Anders Jensen held positions as Chairman of the Board in the Danish Wind Industry Association, and Chairman of the Board in the Vestas Sales and Service Companies as well as Board Member positions in the Vestas Production Companies in Europe, Asia and North America. In addition to his engagement with Vestas Jens Anders Jensen has worked with project development and investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector, particularly within wind power projects. In his previous career Jens Anders Jensen held various positions as General Manager and Sales Director in the UK based APV Group supplying projects and equipment to the dairy and food industry. Jens Anders Jensen is a Danish national born on 1 April 1957.

As Director of Business Development & Investor Relations (VP) Åsmund Grytting Furuseth is one of the Co-founders of ChapDrive. He started to work with ChapDrive as a business case in 2005, and when the company was formally established in December 2006 he became the first CEO. Åsmund Grytting Furuseth continued to develop the Company and by 2007 new investors where introduced to accelerate the growth. In September 2008 a new organisation was formed and Åsmund Grytting Furuseth took over the position as Vice President. Åsmund Grytting Furuseth holds a master’s degree in Physics from the Technical University in Trondheim, Norway supplemented with studies at the University of Barcelona, Spain. Åsmund Grytting Furuseth served 2 years as Project Manager and Business Development Manager in various commercialization projects at NTNU Technology Transfer AS where one of the business cases was ChapDrive. Åsmund Grytting Furuseth is a Norwegian national born on 28 August 1981.

Knud Erik Thomsen joined ChapDrive as CTO in April 2009. Knud Erik Thomsen holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Aalborg, Denmark and a diploma in Business Administration from the Institute of Business and Technology in Herning, Denmark. Knud Erik Thomsen served 15 years in the R&D in Vestas Wind Systems A/S holding positions as Head of Mechanical Engineering, Head of Electrical Engineering, Chief Specialist in Wind Power Systems and Project Manager for a new generation of wind turbine controllers. In addition to his engagements with Vestas Knud Erik Thomsen has served as R&D Manager in Exausto A/S, manufacturer of ventilation systems, and as R&D Manager in Gerber Technology A/S, manufacturer of machinery and software for e.g. the apparel industry. Knud Erik Thomsen is a Danish national born on 23 February 1961.
