Chairman of IPR Committee and Technical Advisor Professor Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug is one of the inventors of the ChapDrive technology and a Co-founder of ChapDrive AS. He started to work on the idea in 2004 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim (NTNU), Norway. From 2007 to 2009 Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug was Technical Manager and Board Member in ChapDrive. Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug has been Chairman of the IPR Committee since 2008. Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug is a Professor at NTNU, Department of Energy and Process Engineering. He started as an Associate Professor in 1999 and was given the full professorship in 2005. Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug holds a Ph.D. degree in Hydro Turbine Technology and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU, Norway supplemented with studies at the University of California in Santa Barbara, USA. In addition to his other engagements Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug is a member of numerous international academic and professional committees within hydraulic, tidal and hydro Power research. In his previous career Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug was an Associate Professor at Kathmandu University in Nepal and a Research Scientist at SINTEF in Trondheim, Norway. Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug is a Norwegian national born on 16 November 1963.

Member of IPR Committee and Technical Advisor Knud Andersen joined ChapDrive as Technical Advisor in June 2007 and has been Member of the IPR Committee since 2008. Knud Andersen has over 10 years of experience and a substantial network within the wind industry obtained from his work as COO in NEG Micon A/S and COO in Vestas Wind Systems A/S. Knud Andersen is CEO of BB Electronics A/S and a Non-executive Board Member in the Danish companies Flonidan DC A/S, Færch Holding A/S, Freudendahl Invest A/S and HM Labelling A/S. Knud Andersen has a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University in Copenhagen, Denmark and a bachelor's degree in Economy from Aarhus School of Business, Denmark. Knud Andersen is a Danish national born on 3 October 1955.

Member of IPR Committee Tommy Dahlen joined as Member of the IPR Committee in ChapDrive in 2008. Tommy Dahlen is a Partner and Lawyer MNA at the Norwegian law firm Arntzen de Besche. Tommy Dahlen has for a number of years worked extensively with internationalization and commercialization of technology through sales and licensing of patents. Tommy Dahlen has a degree in Law from the University in Oslo. Tommy Dahlen is a Norwegian national born on 29 June 1971.
