Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug
Chairman of IPR Committee and Technical Advisor
Professor Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug is one of the inventors of the ChapDrive technology and a Co-founder of ChapDrive AS. He started to work on the idea in 2004 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim (NTNU), Norway. From 2007 to 2009 Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug was Technical Manager and Board Member in ChapDrive. Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug has been Chairman of the IPR Committee since 2008.
Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug is a Professor at NTNU, Department of Energy and Process Engineering. He started as an Associate Professor in 1999 and was given the full professorship in 2005.
Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug holds a Ph.D. degree in Hydro Turbine Technology and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU, Norway supplemented with studies at the University of California in Santa Barbara, USA.
In addition to his other engagements Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug is a member of numerous international academic and professional committees within hydraulic, tidal and hydro Power research. In his previous career Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug was an Associate Professor at Kathmandu University in Nepal and a Research Scientist at SINTEF in Trondheim, Norway.
Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug is a Norwegian national born on 16 November 1963.
